The map coming with the new GPS Navigation For Dummies device is a
recent release available from the map providers who release the map
periodically. Changes to streets and roads can be found everyday. We
will offer the updated map to customers on pre-loaded SD card
initially. Please contact our customer service or sales to buy the
latest map.
2. Can I use the GPS Navigation For Dummies device right
after receiving it?
Yes. The device coming with the battery partially charged. Most of
the time, you want to use the device in the vehicle, you can start to
use the device with the vehicle charger connected after the device is
installed in the vehicle.
3. Where can I buy the A/C charger and extra vehicle
charger my device?
Please contact our sales or customer service to buy the device
chargers. The accessories are available online.
4. How many stop-overs can be supported by the
device?
You can pre-enter six stop-overs into GPS Navigation For Dummies
device before you go. The device will guide you through all the
stop-overs in the order of the stop-overs entered.
5. How can I get the updated navigation
software?
If the updated software is available, we will offer the updated
navigation software to our customers in SD card initially. Please
contact our customer service or sales to buy the updated software.
6. What formats are supported by the GPS device for the digital music, video, picture and e-Book applications?

7. How to download digital music, video and picture files into the GPS
Navigation For Dummies device?
Warning: We strongly recommend that costomers use a separate & clean SD card for storing the digital music, picture and video files. SD card can be purchase from most of electronics stores.
Method 1: Using the GPS device USB plug & play to download the files
Please make sure that the separate & clean SD is in the GPS device before following the steps below:
- Using the device USB plug and play feature: Connect the device
to the PC via a USB cable. The device supports the USB plug and
play. A connection should be made and the device SD card can be
accessed from the PC as a removable USB disk.
- Using the USB-SD card adapter: You can use a USB-SD card
adapter (not included in this product package; can be purchased
from electronics stores) for
downloading the files on your PC to the SD card. To do so, please
follow the following steps:
Method 2: Using a SD card reader to download the files
- Exit the navigation application if it is running on the
device
- Unplug the SD card from the device
- Plug the SD card to the SD card reader
- Plug the SD card reader to a computer that is enabled to
support the USB plug & play feature
- Download the files to the SD card
- Safely unplug the SD card reader and take the SD card out
from the SD card reader
- Plug the SD card back to the GPS Navigation For Dummies
device
- These files can be accessed from the GPS device applications
